Game Drives : R200 per person A 3 hour trip taken in our open Safari vehicle. Excellent sightings of Impala, Warthog, Nyala, Wildebeest and many other species. You may possibly even spot one of the 3 Black Rhino that roam on Esikhotheni Private Game Reserve. A trip past Jozini Dam with the anticipation of seeing the herd of Elephant, or even the Buffalo.
We offer early morning drives, and sunset drives.
Boat Cruises : R250 per person This lazy 2 to 3 hour cruise will take you along the shores of the magnificent Jozini Dam where you will see an abundance of both bird life and animals along the shoreline. A stop along the way to have a drink could encourage the Hippo pod to pop up and take a peek at you. Mornings and evenings - weather permitting. Absolutely no fishing whilst on a Boat Cruise.
Tiger Fishing Tigerfish in abundance within the Jozini Dam, with Bream in the Mpeti Bay inlet. Try your hand at snagging a Tigerfish either from the shore, or try our boat charters with one of our very experienced guides. Rates on request.
Walking Trails : R100 per person The best way to sight game, this activity comes highly recommended. Take aa early morning guided walk with Robert and experience the bush at ground level. He will select the route you take based on your level of fitness and energy.
Bird Watching We have the most phenomenal bird life on Esikhotheni Private Game Reserve - our terrain varies from grassland, to bush, to riverine, and the Jozini Dam shoreline & we invite you to add your sightings to our list!
Rhino Tracking : R350 (adults only, max 2 persons per walk) Drive to the area where our Black Rhino were most recently spotted, and follow the fresh spoor on foot. (Be sure to pick your tree to climb should the need arise as you go along!)
Bush Breakfasts, Picnic Lunches, Surprize Occasions We are happy to arrange this for you either at the dam, our look-out deck in the hills, or from a vantage point overlooking the reserve and the shimmering Jozini Dam.
4X4 Track : R50 per vehicle Put your vehicle through its paces on this "not-too-difficult" route through the hills. The route is rough - beware of branches that will scratch your vehicle.
Clay Pigeon shooting : R20 per round Everyone always says how easy this looks, so go ahead and test your skill - its great fun!
